Another successful Annual Clinical Conference

Saturday 11th November saw the Health Management Annual Clinical Conference take place in Central London at the historic venue of the Friends House.

120 clinicians from Health Management and Centre for Health and Disability Assessment (CHDA) attended a day packed full of interesting presentations across a range of topics, which were accredited for CPD requirements.  

Delegates were welcomed by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mark Simpson and Clinical Operations Director, Mary Rafferty. Dr Clare Piper’s tireless efforts to organise this event were also recognised at this time.

The morning saw highly informative sessions on Personality Disorders and Sexual Addiction with presentations from Dr Chiedu Obuaya and Dr Thaddeus Birchard correspondingly.

During a networking lunch delegates were invited to visit exhibition stands from Lexxic, Psych Health and RehabWorks.

The afternoon saw further engaging and educational presentations on Skin Problems at Work, A Sensible Approach to Sleep Disorders and the Medical Aspects of Torture and Asylum presented by Dr Jonathan White, Dr Guy Leschziner and Dr Rachel Bingham respectively.

The day was closed with thanks from Dr Simpson and a summary of the day by Dr Paul Williams, Head of Health, MAXIMUS UK.
